I'm not dead

I know most of you haven't heard from me in 2 weeks or more. I'm not dead. Just a weird time. Classes ended 2 weeks ago, and I don't have an exam until friday. I've been relaxing. We had a party from my roommate's 22nd b-day that was amazing (lasted from 9pm to 8am). I went to bars (not drinking a lot), and watching everyone else study. I've studied a little too. And now, I'm sitting in my window, watching the clouds fly by. 50 mph winds and low, pink clouds are an amazing combo. There is supposed to be a meteor shower tonight... but the only meteor I see is my phone (and if you don't get the joke, don't worry... it was really bad).

The city is pretty in the crisp air. The spire is really bright. The crane towards Booterstown/Blackrock is decked out in x-mas colored lights. The RTE tower looks like a tacky Eiffel Tower (but is thankfully turned off right now).

I'm looking forward to being back for x-mas. I have a couple of days before x-mas, a few days after. A party for new year's eve, and then I need to spend a few days in chapel hill getting my laptop fixed and look for jobs. And apply for graduation. My ticket to come back is set for something like the 18th, but I've found a pretty cheap flight back on the 9th. Milan, Verona and Venice are looking mighty tempting. My roommate lives in Verona, which is an hour from Milan. He offered to pick me up, show me around, let me stay at his place, and drive me out to Venice (2 hours away). And one of our friends lines in Venice, so we could stay there for the night. This plane flight back to Dublin is seriously cheap. I feel like i got ripped off on the return flight that I already have.

Oh well. To bed with me. I need to get up early to study.
